We are saddened to learn of the tragic accident which took the lives of two members of the Cavanaugh Flight Museum family.  On Wednesday, April 25, the AT-6D owned by aviation enthusiast Steve DeWolf crashed, taking the life of both DeWolf and his passenger, Charles Skoda. Steve DeWolf has been a member of the Board of Directors for Cavanaugh Flight Museum since 2007, while Charles Skoda only joined our board last year. We and the entire aviation community mourn this tragic accident.

The Cavanaugh Flight Museum is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization devoted to promoting aviation studies and to perpetuating America's aviation heritage; the museum fulfills its mission by restoring, operating, maintaining and displaying historically-significant, vintage aircraft, and by collecting materials related to the history of aviation.
